008: Lineup change, vinyl split

Hey. Haven't posted any news up here in months, none of the old stuff was very exciting and our system of making merch available for mailorder online is in need of restructuring, so getting rid of everything else seemed like a good idea.

Everything is finished up for our split 12" LP with Monolith (myspace.com/wearemonolith), it should be going to press very soon, and should have a release date sometime in May if all goes as planned. The record will be the first release on NYC-based vinyl only label, Science of Silence, and the layout and overall packaging is going to be awesome.

Limited run, clear vinyl with sweet artwork courtesy of our own Devin Toye, metallic ink, and poster insert. Here are some low-res previews of some of the layout:

There will be a link posted up here once the label has started taking online preorders.

We also unfortunately had to part ways with Sal & Matt, since work schedules combined with the distance factor led to a situation where full band practices and most shows were logistically near impossible. The rest of us will definitely miss having those dudes in the fold, but on a positive note, Brian Barbaruolo & Sean Harrington were able to fill the vacancies for bass & guitar almost immediately, and we'll have info on some upcoming shows soon (some of which may be on the west coast, fingers crossed).
